Hotel
If anyone from out of town is looking for a hotel, there's a Red Roof Inn about 10-15 minutes away from the course in a nice area with TONS of good food near by (including my favorite Thai restaurant), plus it's right next to the highway. According to the PDGA, the Red Roof Inn offers a 20% discount, just call 1-800-RED-ROOF and use the code VP545283.
There are other hotels in the area as well, but it's hard to beat a 20% discount.

I will be providing live scoring of the Men's Open lead card via Twitter. For some of our guys who aren't going, it is a chance for you to keep up on the action, and maybe see one of our guys on the card with Jenkins, Arthur, Greenwell, Schusterick... you get it!
Just imagine: Diehl, Kern, Oman & Jenkins! Disc Golf Superstars!
Anyway, the twitter account to follow is @aceeagledgc

Diehl, Kern and Oman have to register before they can get on the card with Schusterick, Jenkins, Arthur and Greenwell.
If you haven't registered for this event yet you're running out of time, Friday is the last day to register, you cannot register the day of the tournament. We still have some players packs available for Ams, register now to ensure you get one.
You can see diagrams of the 9 temp holes here. http://louisvillediscgolf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4797&page=1
Be sure to allow extra time to get to the course since the I-64 bridge in Louisville is out.

I-64 Bridge Out Alternate Route
Anyone going to Louisville this weekend might want to consider taking IN 66 through Newburgh and crossing the river at Rockport and then taking US 60 east and up to Louisville from the south. I've heard the I-65 bridge is a real mess. Might take an extra 15-20 minutes vs the regular I-64 route but taking into account the possibility of delays on I-65 it might be worth it. Less stress to.

Great point!
I'm taking 60 all the way from Henderson. Going to stop and play Otter Creek on our way in.

Re: Charlie Vettiner Open - Sept 17 & 18 - A-tier
If you can avoid crossing the bridge in Louisville without going way out of your way I would recommend you do that. Weekday rush hour is obviously bad and from what I hear it's spotty the rest of the day.
Today is the last day to register for the tournament.
Martin, Judge and Ross will be at the course today to take money or you can register at http://dynamicdiscs.com/regCVO.html. You cannot register the day of the tournament.
Tonight at 6pm is doubles at CV.
