Got this info from http://www.discgolfsweden.se

"2011-02-18 - Innova Ape
Innova latest driver is called Ape, it is an over stable driver, the X-Caliber equivalent to a Boss. The flight numbers are Speed 13, Glide 5, HSS 0 and LSS 4 according to Dave Dunipace at Innova, it is not a driver for beginners. Champion Ape will be released during the month of April, but it was approved by PDGA yesterday, some figures:
Outside diameter: 21.1 cm (max weight 175.1 grams)
Inside rim diameter: 16.2 cm
Height: 1.6 cm
Rim depth: 1.2 cm
Rim thickness: 2.4 cm
Flexibility rating: 12.13 kg
Rim configuration rating: 27.75 mm

There is also a slightly less stable Wraith variant on the way, it will come in weights down to 158gms in Champion, Pro, or Star plastic. To be continued.."

To summarize, the Ape is coming out in April and a variation on the Wraith sometime after.

I predict that this will be Kern's new driver for overstable shots

The disc that we get in the player's pack. I personally think Innova's contribution will be one of those BG Vulcans.

im trading mine away either way...or I may switch it with a nice disc from another bag when no one is looking. I think the Ape will do a lot for the adv-pro players but not much for a large majority of the DG players out there. I would throw it probably but I like my Xcals and I dont want to start switching up my bag again.
