But if registration opened at 8p.m. eastern 7 central how was there 41 people already signed up on the PDGA website?

Re: 7th Annual Pumpkin Shootout
The 7th Annual Pumpkin Shootout ams division filled at 7:29 CST, congrats to those who made the list! We still have 13 Open division spots remaining, those players who were sent refunds are first in line on the waiting list & first to fill the remaining 13 spots. Madmike, Ace Eagle Club members have first dibs on registration, one of the many perks of becoming a member! If you want to get on the waiting list or get an Open division spot email nicholasfest@aol.com.

I hate to say anything at all and I never do but I some what upset and angry about this deal. So you are saying the Ace Eagle members got first dibs, but a Southern Indiana series TD doesn't get any dibs on spots? I also, find it some what unfair that 47 people got in before anything opened I think it should of been first come first serve on this if the tournament fills up so fast. I would of never mentioned anything about this if I didn't just read this thread.

Re: 7th Annual Pumpkin Shootout
I don't find it unfair since AEDGC members are the reason the event rules. I will be out getting more money for the event and I will have the disc art done soon.

We all had originally planned on standing in Ben's front yard with cash in hand, but he really didn't want us killing his grass.

I dont think its unfair for them to support the Ace Eagles members who make the tournament happen, Nick can do registration however he wants. How nice it must be though to fill up so quick. It makes me jealous. With the great response have you guys considered running Ams or whomever is available on Saturday?

Re: 7th Annual Pumpkin Shootout
I am really excited to have gotten in this year, but I noticed on the PDGA website that I am listed as a non-PDGA member. When signing up, I chose the correct method and I input my number (#48966). Somehow it didn't make it into the listing on the PDGA website. Can this be fixed so I can be rated?

Nick will fix all that stuff. He and Ben were bombarded last night.

Bigger?
I am still new to all this disc golf stuff - especially the tournament parts - but is there a way to make the tournament bigger? If the demand is there is there anyway to increase supply? I helped organize soccer tournaments for many years here in Evansville and we were always trying to grow the tournament to make it more competitive and to make more money for the club. We would seek out more fields if needed. As a result, the tournament went from nothing to one of the most competitive and largest tournaments in Indiana and the midwest. Sounds like the Pumpkin Shootout is very popular. Is it time to make it bigger? Is there a way to make it bigger? Just thoughts from a newbie.

Two Day Event?
Can the Pumpkin Shootout be made into a two day tournament? I noticed that someone else mentioned Saturday ams. That sounds like a good idea - let the amatuers play on Saturday and the open/pros play on Sunday. More course time menas more players can play in each division. More players means more money for the club as well.

Lol. AceEagles rule! Lots of volunteers hours=First ones up! It's about honor. This tourney format should not change. Don't fix what's not broke.
