Sunday was a great day for disc golf. 14 players showed up for the first event of the Evansville Open Fundraiser Trilogy. We were able to raise $81 for the 2012 EVO. Benny V and Josh Thomas took home first place shooting a hot round of 45. Also, there were 6 CTPs and we had four rounds of "Ring of Fire." Thanks everyone for coming out and please keep an eye out for event #2!

***River City Discs Customer Appreciation Day - After the round come enjoy a burger provided by RCD! Then browse their selection of new and used discs at great low prices!

River City Discs will be providing pulled pork, burgers, and hot dogs. Along with kool aid and gatorade!

This event is on Mothers Day.....was going to set up shop and try to raise some cash for the open!!
but, I Guess thats what we'll do again the next week at Woodmere opener the 20th.
It would have been way cooler to combine these events but maybe next time.
I hope to see Local Disc Golfers rep'n at Woodmere!

and when I say local I don't mean people from Indy, Louisville and Madisonville cause they are not local!

Enjoy those tournies if you go, but just know that Woodmere DG course has only 1 open to the public date.

I would like to give a big thank you to everyone, who came out on Sunday for event number two. A very big thank you to River City Discs, who provided lunch and prizes. The food was great!!!!

We were able to raise $76 through the tournament and ace pool. Also, Rick Mitchell donated $25 dollars of his winnings to the EVO.
