The hill on hole 4.
I worry that if we don't do something about the hill on hole 4 at Woodmere, someone could fall or break an ankle. I think we should try to do something before the EVO. I have a little bit more freedom during the month of January, so I would like to do all I can to help this situation. Anyone have any ideas on what we should do. Anyone have access to resources? I like the stairs on 9 at Mesker, and wonder how difficult it would be to repeat something similar.
I don't want to step on anybody's toes...if there is something already in the works, let me know.

Job mentioned doing 3 or 4 tiered retaining walls instead of stairs, which I think sounds awesome.
Obviously we wouldn't be able to afford the rock like in this picture, but railroad ties or something to that effect could be used.

I believe the retaining wall/terrace system would improve the aesthetics and safety of the hole and if done properly would not have a negative impact on the rollaway affect.

How about a 3-5 tiered retaining wall with a stairway up the left or right side? I don't think people should be expected to climb 2-5ft tiers to get their disc back.

I'll take a picture tomorrow and draw on top of it to show everyone what I am imagining.

Re: The hill on hole 4.
how about doing it in stages, do the stairs first as that is most important and then worry about the tier effect later on. just a suggestion because I do like the idea of extra landscaping but it sounds like the stairs really need to be done first
Re: The hill on hole 4.
If this is done I can get RR ties for free. At least I could a few months ago. I'm sure there is probably some left.
