Congratulations to Jack Rudibaugh, who won the Ace Race after 3 sudden death holes over Charlie Aubrey!

Thanks to everyone for coming out! The weather was great and the chains were grabbing! We had 16 Aces and 70 metal hits!

Again, thanks to Charlie Aubrey, Rick Mitchell and Jack Rudibaugh for providing the temp baskets.

Hole 10 had the most Aces with 7. Holes 2 & 5 both had 2 Aces. Holes 3, 6, 7, 8 and 11 each had 1 Ace. Holes 1, 4, 9 & 12 were not Aced.

I like to thank everyone who came out and played this year. I would also like to thank Job for running the event alone since I was not able to make it since I moved. I think Job and I did a great job with the hype and Ben helped a lot with the online payments. I like to think Job and I will do the race next year but our goal will be 60 people or more!

One way to get more people would be to get it on a weekend with no tournaments around..... however I know this is really hard. I did hear a lot of talk at Howie's that a handful of people would have went to the ace race but they didn't want to miss Trick or Treat. I would say you would have gotten ten more people if it wasn't on the same day. I know planning ahead is hard because you never know when other tournaments will be so this is hard.

We scheduled it long before Howie. My fault though, I didn't think about Tick or Treat. If I would have, it would have been on Sunday.

what about doing an unofficial Ace Race using the same disc sometime, is that out of the question?

I'd say it's a great possibility. Maybe a disc of choice event.
